We build custom furniture, decks, and restore old pieces worth keeping. We're picky about the wood we use and careful about how we put things together. If it's leaving our shop, it's built to last.

About Joey Atwell
On his mom's side, nobody let anything slide. If a picture frame was crooked or a color was off, somebody was going to say something. Joey grew up around that attention to detail, and it shows in his work.
Joey learned woodworking in his grandfather's shop. He picked up the basics there, but more importantly, he learned to slow down and do things right. That stuck with him. Now he runs Whittleville, where he builds custom furniture, decks, and brings beat-up old pieces back to life.
Years of city apartments didn't hurt either. When you feel every wasted inch, you start thinking harder about how a space works: what fits, what's useful, what's just taking up air. That way of looking at a room stuck with him.
Got a project in mind? Joey will work with you to figure out what you need and how to get there. He takes his time with every cut and every joint, because the details are what make the difference.
